Ambassador Chicago
Ambassador Chicago is a boutique luxury hotel in the heart of the Gold Coast’s vibrant downtown neighbourhood. With a glamorous legacy rooted in the 1920s jazz era, the hotel has long been a favourite among icons such as Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and David Bowie — now honoured on its black-and-white wall of fame. Following recent renovations, the property required a refreshed brand image to support its goal of securing a new partnership with Hyatt Hotels. I was engaged to elevate the hotel’s social media presence and reignite its online community, ultimately strengthening its positioning within the modern luxury market.

To appeal to Hyatt’s audience of young professionals and modern travellers, we refreshed the hotel’s branding across all social media touchpoints — updating iconography, typography, and image curation to feel more contemporary and lifestyle-led, while preserving the elegant sparkle that defines the four-pearl property.
Following the rebrand, I introduced a new content and social strategy centred on community, local events, and strategic partnerships with organisations such as the Chicago Film Festival, Chicago Architecture Week, Veuve Clicquot, and Don Julio.
Overall, I increased the hotel’s cross-platform social media following by 40% and boosted Instagram engagement by 300% through a combination of organic initiatives and targeted paid advertising.
